The SH6 Series addresses a specific and growing demand: the need for both high frame rates and high spatial resolution. As Digital Image Correlation (DIC), Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and full-field optical measurement techniques become more widely adopted the requirement for larger image formats at speed has grown accordingly.
The SH6 range spans from 1.3 megapixels through 2, 5 and 8 megapixel variants upto the SH6-2101 at 21 megapixels - the highest resolution in the SinceVision range. At full 51210x4096 resolution, the SH6-2101 provides extraordinary spatial coverage for large-area strain mapping, structural vibration analysis, wind tunnel flow visualisation and aerospace component testing where conventional high-speed cameras would require multiple camera setups to achieve equivalent field coverage.
